Take Advantage of Branding
The Verve name has had some exciting connections lately with Ricky Barnes, etc. Connect with your back office often to catch the news. Use the free publicity to spread the word in your neighborhoods about Verve! It is always exciting seeing celebrities wearing the Verve name and drinking the product. Even if the product is seen in a television show refrigerator - that's publicity. Use it and pick up the phones and call everyone about it. Energy drinks are abundant in our society. They are everywhere, including college campuses. And nothing can compare to Verve in the energy drink arena. We have the healthy energy drink. So, do a little plaster planning with flyers and mailers, and spread the word. Be the person they come to for Verve. Let your sphere of influence all know you have Verve and a business opportunity to share with it. Spread the word. Ride the publicity wave all the way to the bank!

Power Hour
This business is mostly done in the nooks and crannies of one's day. Some call it "conversational marketing." And that is great. In your everyday activities, you'll find a way to bring up your opportunity. The old F O R M ... family, occupation, recreation, message concept taught by Amway a kazillion years ago still works today in this "conversational marketing" concept. However, I have found that if you give one solid hour a day to your business with focused intensity, you will see much more success with your business building. Use that hour to follow-up with customers & prospects. Touch base with your downline team to do 3-ways calls. Book appointments for face-to-face appointments. Contact new people and add them to your Prospect 100 list. Just make that one hour count. No distractions. Close the door to your office space & make things happen. And...have fun!

STAYING CONNECTED
The beauty of network marketing, especially with a binary pay plan, is the upline support built right in to the plan. The "spillover" factor literally builds a leg for you if your enroller is actively building the business. And your upline support also (in a way) spills over)! Take for example Ruth Elliott's Wednesday Webinars. They are there for you to use. Upline combined teams of Michelle Barnes, Matt Morrow, David & Debbie Reeder are also there to utilize with weekly consistent Tuesday & Thursday biz building calls, webinars & team calls. Staying connected goes all the way up the ladder to the company with the monthly corporate UPDATE call. Between your www.myvemma.com/teamburgess (your name after /) website's back office, www.teamburgess.com & www.vsupportteam.com ... staying connected is easy. All it takes is for you to plug in. Use these tools to keep you motivated & productive with business building. And...have fun!!!

Consistency Always Win$
Hats off to those great team members who have consistently shared their Vemma business wherever they go. They consistently make daily calls to motivate & encourage their team. They consistently sample product to new, potential customers & distributors. They consistently share the success they've had with the product. They consistently make things happen. They consistently move product from their inventory. They consistently have an autoship with the company that not only locks in their position in the downline team, but always keeps them qualified for weekly bonuses. They consistently are positive about what they are doing. These members make me smile. They consistently make my day. They are positive & self-motivated. And they see success. I have a few team members like this who, when the economy has caused most people to suffer financial hardships, are consistently enrolling new people into the business. When most are making excuses, these team members are making money. Why? Consistency in purpose, focus & eye on the prize! Thank you guys!!!

Having Fun in the Process!
With this horrid economy we are having, "fun" doesn't seem to be in the equation. We are all stressed about money & scrambling to make ends meet. That doesn't always equal a "fun day," right? Business building with Vemma & Verve needs to have that fun element in it. We bound out of bed & say out loud ... "It's gorgeous today & I'm going to have fun sharing this amazing business & product with everyone I meet!" Keeping that smile on your face, happiness in your heart & bounce in your step, will see more success than you can imagine. The world right now is frowning. And for good reason. It's doom & gloom out there. There needs to be a light at the end of everyone's tunnel. So, give them some light. First - their days all need to start with Verve...right? Right. I ran out for a week & not only dragged around here, but was once again having sleepless nights & snip snapping at my cute hubby of 35 years. I tried substituting with the other drugstore energy drinks, but felt worse & wanted to take naps in the middle of the day. What was that? So...Verve arrived & yesterday I was back with the best & had a fabulous nights sleep & am up ready to take on the world. So, instead of panicking about this mess the government has made of our economy, drink your Verve & start talking to people!!!

Nooks & Crannies
Networking Pro's talk about one of the many benefits to working Network Marketing is that you can work it into the nooks & crannies of your day. They refer to "conversational marketing," as well. This goes along with the theory that in your everyday activities, you bump into people & find a way to talk about your Vemma & Verve products. You ask questions, then ask more questions so that you know when to slide in the product or business. It often works, but let me take that a step further. You need to earmark a specific time that you "intentionally" DO the business, otherwise your "nooks & crannies" concept won't work. You need to get specific - just like punching a time clock. If you are working full time, then maybe you take your lunch break - hopefully an hour - & get out there, walk the pavement, meet new people & get their business cards. Then when you are home from your job-job, follow-up with those people. It's not always easy to work 8 hours then come home & schedule in time to do the follow-up, but you need to do that. Again, be specific with your time frame. You have to analyze your individual schedules & if you have 7 to 8 open for follow-up calls, then that's when you do those calls. Just be specific & consistent. Set your business building goals to specific goals. I suggest enrolling 3 new members a week by Thursday night. These 3 could fall into "wholesale users" & "business builders." And don't catch yourself pre-judging which is which. They will surprise you. Just get them enrolled (FREE) & see who they can lead you to - then follow-up with them. It takes effort, but the rewards are excellent. Look at your existing team. If you have no consistent auto-ships - then get some. If you have no business builders, then get some. Get out there & make things happen!

It's Do-Over Day!
I've got a great team. I love every person I've personally enrolled & love those they have enrolled. I have a grateful heart. They rock! I love calling those positive people & hearing about their newly enrolled team members. Their positive energy pumps up my day. It puts a smile on my face. And I understand when people fall out & cancel their autoships. It happens. In the past these occasional cancellations got me down & negative. Instead of calling them & encouraging them to hang in there, keeping their spot locked in for those downline, spillover bonuses, I have shrugged it off. But... no more. I adore the Vemma & Verve product. Without it, my ankles swell, find myself not sleeping, lacking that clean energy, etc. So, I'm starting today to have a Do-Over Day! I'm touching base with my peeps, updating them on the latest events (see back office updates), letting them know I care, & then doing what all of us needs to do...enrolling new team members. It's been a few months since I've done that. Famous MLM phrase...the pace of the team is the pace of the pack! So...let's "pace it up!" Not sure if that's a phrase, but you get the drift. Set the pace. Be the example of positive action ... positive energy ... positive business building daily activity. Do to duplicate! It's Do-Over Day!
